Rayne Rider Jose Guzman, fresh off a 1st place finish at the King Of Clermont, came back home one week later to win the Guajataka Downhill 6 against one of the most challenging pack of riders you can ever face - Kevin Reimer, James Kelly, Louis Pilloni, Kyle Martin, Zac Maytum, Billy Bones, and the list goes on and on!
Rayne Rider Kevin Reimer, the 2011 Guajataka Downhill winner raced what can really be considered his first technical course since his early 2011 season injury. Always a favorite, K-Rimes was leading everyone on race day, but was overtaken in the final corner by Jose, the hometown hero. Guzman, well known for his fast, technical abilities and international race experience, was strong all day and used his intimate experience on his local hill to take the win.
The 2012 race season is already blowing up and we're stoked to see Jose with two back-to-back wins under his belt.
