The Cathlamet Downhill Corral is one of the year's best events and we're lucky enough to have right here int he Pacific North West!
Cathlamet is awesome not only for the diversity of skating, the town, is one of the most accepting and inviting communities we experience globally. Local shops put up banners welcoming skaters, a large portion of the community come out and watch, and none of the local rifraf try and cause problems with visiting skaters.
With all that small town American hostpitality comes more skateboarding in 3 days then just about any event we can think of. Theres a solid downhill skateboarding course, slalom, sidewalk showdown, a slopestyle, a boarder cross and a big air contest. You can have a look at the schedule and prizes here: http://www.cathlametcorral.com/race-info/
Rayne team rider Ian "Hustle" Russell took his first 1st place podium in Junior's at Cathlamet, on one of his last races as a junior. Big congrats to Ian, a well-deserved win!
