The ladies in Spain are shredding and Marta Guillen makes sure to keep them looking awesome in the most recent video, Damn Curves. A few weeks ago they visited the new Spanish skate house, Salsito, and this is what they came up with.
Rayne team rider Cristina Mandarina made sure to let us know what was up and gave us a rundown on the weekend! Check out her words and the video below!
Last week 12 girls from different Spanish cities came together in order to skate and visit the newest Skatehouse in our country.
It was a big group to organize, and some of the girls couldn´t come, which was a pity. So, it all started on Friday with: Lejandra , Dove, Cristina, Tana , Eider , Barbara , Laura, Guanxa, Marten, Sonso , and I got to the Salsito house, beers, good vibes, music, laughter, long videos, and all you need to have a good time. Tired from the trip, we decided to go to bed early... at 2am.
7:00 a.m. The doorbell rings! It's Maria; the last girl missing to complete the team. The next day, we were skating the whole day, super focused, the sun went down, there wasn´t any light, still, the crew was having fun. So much skating, so many hills, tones of fun. Salsito had to carry us up to the home as if we would have been in war times. Once at home, the shower kept ringing and we decided that we wanted to cook some meat and vegetables in the Big SALSITO BBQ for that night, which would receive a pleasant visit from Toti with his friends.
We were so tired, we soon go to sleep.
We woke up the next day prepared the bags because the trip was already coming to an end, we decided to go to skate at a good spot near Valencia.
On the way we stopped at a gas station, there I show my skills as a member of "The A-team". The van was going 2km/h and I tried to jump in and hit my head on the door frame. We arrived at the spot (with headache on my part) and divided into two groups, some girls went to record downhill and others girls stay doing freeride. Morning was very fast, and it starts to rain, this was a good time to end.
It reaches the time of farewell and this stretches, we don't want to leave this small paradise. We make photos of farewell, and try to make a pyramid... "We try"
Laughs to conclude this perfect weekend! I hope to repeat with all them and many thanks to Salsito House for opening the doors.
Thanks to Will Edgecombe for the photo!
